Interview with Psychologist Victoria Kasunic

Its the day after Christmas 2011 and I’m relaxing with friends, but thought I’d let you listen to an interview I did very recently with psychologist Victoria Kasunic.

Victoria will be a special guest at the Sleep Mojo Live Seminar in February in Sydney – and many of you have expressed an interest in hearing what she has to say.

She’s an experienced Sydney psychologist with her own private practice, but has also worked behind the scenes on the recent TV programs “Go Back To Where You Came From” and “Making Australia Happy”.

In this interview I’ve asked Victoria a range of questions that I’m sure you’d like to ask too. What do psychologists do? When is it appropriate to visit a psychologist? How do they work? How do you find a good one?

Putting the psychologist on the couch, so to speak! Ha ha.
Oh, I really did want to know if you lie down on a couch by the way, and yes, I did ask.

Victoria has some very helpful information, I recommend you listen to the interview.

I’m hoping to see you in Sydney in early February for Sleep Mojo Live. Have you booked?

The interview with Victoria is very helpful. She answers every question very well.
I also read some of your article here and it is helpful for me since I’ve got a sleep problem.

Thanks for giving the details of the seminar, I wish I can attend that one. I’m one of the interested followers of Victoria and I want to hear what she will say.

I want to ask Victoria since she is a psychologist is there any problem in her life that was very difficult to solve ? How she handle it?

Victoria Kasunic December 29, 2011 at 10:57 am

Hi Sandy, I have had lots of problems in my life – just like everyone else does really. One that I struggled with for many years was losing weight – I had been overweight most of my life and only when I reached 35 was I able to lose weight and keep it off for several years. I used techniques like meditation, mindful eating, creative visualisation, journalling, positive self-talk and exercise. Regards,Victoria

I tried to view the video where Victoria is interviewing by you Elizabeth but found some error I can’t see the video but it’s playing. I’m gonna fix this one, love to see it.

Elizabeth January 4, 2012 at 2:50 pm

Hi Raymond
There is a very short video on YouTube of the first few minutes of the interview only – and please excuse us, it has only a static image on the video – as we only really have MP3 version of it. Likewise, on the site, we only have the MP3 to play. So your problems are legitimate! Don’t reset anything on your computer… Our apologies, Elizabeth
